Hand dye in shades of pinks and purples 

When we receive a new dye color or are looking for just the right shades I often dye test strips on a skein of sock yarn . These tests are so much fun to knit up that we wanted to share some with you.

8 ply Squishy Sock
Extra fine Merino / Nylon 80/20 Super Wash 
8 ply Sock Yarn each 4oz = 420 yards
Suggested Needle Size US 1 - 4 or 2.25 - 3.5 mm

Our " 8 ply Squishy Sock " base is nice and soft with good clear stitch definition. 
It has been described with words such as Squishy, Plump, Lofty, & Bouncy.

I have found it equally good for knit & crochet. With its softness and durability, it is excellent for any next to the skin projects, from socks to shawls and more. 

This is not a repeatable colorway.

I have tried to capture the colors as accurately as possible, but this may vary depending on monitor settings and type of device .

Hand wash with similar colors in cool water and small amount of mild wool wash. Air dry on a flat towel.
